Scientific retreat in Kleinwalsertal

We just had an 8-day retreat, July 24th – 31st, on issues of psychoacoustics, psychophysical scaling, (multimodal) perception and the measurement and acquisition/learning of emotions. With present and former doctoral students (now professors in Germany and abroad), with our best graduate students, and with invited guests from France and Ukraine. We had a great time with morning conferences and afternoon outings into the Alpine valleys surrounding the cozy, beautifully located, practical and hospitable Darmstaedter Haus in Kleinwalsertal, Austria. Highly recommended to all other groups at TU Darmstadt!
