Research Group Ellermeier

This research group (headed by Prof. em. Wolfgang Ellermeier, Ph.D.) focuses on issues of auditory perception, noise effects, and the interaction of perception and memory as seen, e.g., in the 'irrelevant speech effect'. Further research interests concern the auditory enhancement of virtual reality and the psychophysiological measurement of cognitive processes. Most of this research is of an interdisciplinary nature and is performed in close collaboration with colleagues at other universities and often with international project partners (e.g., in France and Japan).
