I am a research engineer working on physically-based rendering within the scope of vision science for the . SEGMENT project
During my Bachelor's degree in Computational Linguistics at Heidelberg University, I used Neural Networks to model large language models and problems, still, I understood little how the human mind processes and produces language. With this endeavor, I came to Darmstadt to study how the human mind works. Vision science, being one well-researched field makes it a natural choice to dig deeper. Concurrently, I shifted my interest in computational approaches to visual approaches, thus pursuing a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Visual Computing. My interests can be summarized in the interdisciplinary work of light transport and its inverse process, physics, vision science, and machine learning.
My pronouns are he/him.
