Claire Ott

I pursue my Ph.D. as part of a project about explainable artificial intelligence with a focus on linear programming and energy systems. I want to understand what kind of explanations are needed to bridge the gap between human understanding and artificial problem solvers.

I studied Mathematics in Darmstadt with a focus on logic, especially category theory, and machine learning. I also spent some time at the Tokyo University and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
