Thinking is a really impressive ability and I would love to understand better how it works. My favourite approach for that is computational modelling, which can help us shed some light on the potential mechanisms behind cognition.

My current research project is concerned with perceptual decision making. In cooperation with the Behavioural Neurophysiology Lab at the University Mainz, we are investigating how decision behaviour is learned and adapted online during a perceptual task.

Before coming to Darmstadt, I studied Cognitive Science at the University Osnabrück and Computational Neuroscience at the BCCN Berlin, where I've also been part of the MetaMotor Lab as a student research assistant.
